I wonder if we'll see unusual changes in weather patterns in the coming weeks and months?
The Hiroshima bomb was rated at something like 20Ktons, so if the Russian meteorite produced 500Ktons that's 25 times as much energy released at an altitude of some 20 miles. All that energy has got to go somewhere.

Mineral analyses of recovered fragments show an iron content of 10%. The object appears to be a chondrite ( today's "i" ).
