Gravity 3D

Post by davep »

This morning I stumbled on a really pretty bit of software called Gravity 3D. It lets you graphically simulate galaxy collisions, resulting in this sort of thing:

Windows only I'm afraid, but it is free of cost.

The site also has some other nice looking software too.

Nice one, Dave.

From the blurb, it says:
Watch galaxies collide in realtime
Doesn't that mean you've got to sit in front of your computer for millions of years whilst it all happens? I hope there's a fast forward option

Cheers
