camp sites

Hi dose any one know of any good camping sites where I could go stargazing as I'm getting a tent and some camping gear so thing I'd like to do a bit of stargazing /camping I know some camp sites are set away from light pollution is would like to find some thank you in advance

I do have a car and I live about 12 mile from burnley area so places in the UK would be good

Your close to the Trough of Bowland so a look at sites on here [url]http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/ ... =clitheroe[/url] should get you started.Crawshaw Farm looks particularly interesting on there.

Anglesey or the Lleyn Peninsula in north Wales should be good too.

You are next door to the Yorkshire Dales and there are campsites there: Ingleton, Malham, etc.
