Path of URANUS

Post by astroeddie »

Guys,

Whilst at sea I set myself the task of tracking the planet Uranus for a month, and plot its path on a chart.

Here's a PDA of the event. All details are included on the report.

Very good. I have also had a little project with Uranus. I have been imaging Pisces using a 50mm lens with an 8 sec exposure. It picks up Uranus very well and I have got 6 images over the last 3 months showing the movement nicely.

I tried the same with Neptune but haven't got so many images this apparition.

Nice to see the Uranus plot. I have over the years followed this planet (1000x +in all) although this year have been so involved with comets that have rather neglected it lately. regards maf
