I went last year on the saturday and it was packed.

There seemed to be a lot of people attracted by the combination of Patrick Moore and Brian May. A couple of guys I talked to, had their wives with them just to see Brian and the chance to get an autograph.

I also bought my WO scope at the Astrofest last year. I am going again this year on the Saturday but I'm not sure whether I will buy anything simply because there's nothing particular I want.
(That is apart from the knob-off-massive-scope that I wish I could afford or have the room to keep and have clear, unpolluted skies :D )

I have tickets for both sessions this year and was pleased to see Sir Patrick back again.

Cheers

The question maybe "why?" but the answer is usually "why not?"
