Planetarium meeting this weekend!

Post by Paul Sutherland »

Just a reminder that the Society for Popular Astronomy is holding a special meeting at the South Downs Planetarium, Chichester, this Saturday, November 25. Anyone reading this posting is invited to join us for a free sky show plus some great talks.
The afternoon will begin with a planetarium show presented by John Mason. Additional speakers will include Robin Scagell presenting "News from the Great Observatories", Neil Bone will talk on "Adventures with a small telescope", and Emily Baldwin will describe recent findings from current planetary missions.
The meeting will begin at 2.30pm and finish at around 5.30pm. Please arrive early but not before 2pm as the planetarium will be operating for a previous audience. Details of how to get to the planetarium and of facilities there are available at the planetarium website. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
