Martin Taylor, who advises the SPA on light pollution matters, is organising a conference in Leicester on Thursday 20 April to discuss the new Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act, which comes into force on 6 April, and which will enable light pollution to be regarded as a statutory nuisance, therefore allowing action to be taken.
The conference is non-profit-making and is open to all, but there is a £30 attendance fee (including lunch), which is reduced to £20 for bookings before 1 April.
