Graham Sinegola at the Kendal Museum 24/2/2006

Post by KendalAstronomer »

There will be a talk by astrophotographer Graham Sinegola held at the Kendal Museum on the 24th of February.
The slide show that I give is aimed at people who have a passing interest in astronomy, but it can also be enjoyed by more knowledgeable amateurs. I alter the title of my show depending on the type of audience and the location. For example: a few years ago I gave a talk in Sedgwick village hall and called it The Hikers Guide to the Universe. I did the same show at Jodrell Bank and called it Beginners guide to Astronomy. As the members of E.A.S. will be more knowledgeable than most I will talk about how and why I took a particular photo.rather than what it is of.
Time will be 7pm until about 8:30/9ish. Lots of local societies will be represented from throughout the county. Cost will be £2 a head to cover staffing costs.
