Post by g0mwt »

On Tuesday, February 3 at 7:30pm there will be a talk in Chelmsford by Dr Brendan Goodbody which will cover how observations and science of the aurora have developed over time.

Dr Brendan Goodbody who now works at BAE Systems Great Baddow recently completed his PhD related to this, including some 'cool' on site visits. A colourfully illustrated talk will explore the processes that create and control the aurora, and how that affects us on Earth.

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society meeting takes place at the Oaklands Museum, Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 9AQ on Tuesday, February 3. The doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. Car parking and admittance are free and there is a raffle.

Visitors are most welcome, a map showing the venue is at
