North Essex Astronomical Society Public Stargazing
North Essex Astronomical Society will be hosting the next in our series of public stargazing events at Great Notley Country Park, near Braintree, on Saturday 28 April.
From 6pm to 9.30pm we will have a range of telescopes set up and welcome anybody to come and have a look at the Moon, planets and an assortment of deep sky objects, or talk to us about telescopes or astronomy in general. The lighter spring evening should also provide an opportunity to do some solar observing with specialist solar telescopes as we wait for the skies to darken.
Observing is weather-dependent, although we will always try to have someone in attendance to answer questions. In the event of rain, the session will be cancelled.
For more info, please look at our website: www.neas.me.uk under the Stargazing tab.
