Don't forget The Peak Star Party

Post by PaulB »

I thought I would just remind everybody, not to forget the Peak Star Party.

You will know doubt know by now, all about this event happening next month.

The event promises to be a success, with plenty of telescope's to look at, if you are new to the hobby.

Saturday is the main event day. With the best of British Telescope display. And and Astro- Car- Boot- Sale on Sunday morning.

Green Witch And Modern Astronomy, will be hoping to sell you an eyepiece or two
:D

There are three lecture's during the week-end. And a photo exhibition, showing astro images.

Saturday night. It is hoped the skies are clear for a co-ordinated meteor watch, which will start at midnight and finish at 01:00hrs.

PSP is from October 20th to 24th so please come and join us.

Is this event a turn up for a day visit or do you need to purchase tickets?

Dear Andy,

You can pay on the day.

The fee is £5:00 and for that, you'll get to tour the camping field's, browse around the trade stand's. And listen to lecture's.

Few that's a relief.

I hadn't heard from anybody, since the final PSP2011 meeting.

So I was beginning to get concerned.
