Not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not, Derby Museum has an exhibit Astronomical: The Beauty Of A Thousand Stars which opens on the 3rd September 2011 and runs until 11 March 2011.

"Inspired by astronomy, this exhibition features objects from the museum collections depicting moons, stars and other celestial imagery. Plates from the stunning 18th Century Flamsteed Star Atlas, Atlas Coelestis, will be exhibited for the first time."

For those who haven't been before it's a small museum with old Grandfather clocks by Whitehurst and a lovely old mechanical Orrery which still runs. Thought those who live in or around the area may be interesting in the exhibit.

Thanks for this. I haven't been to Derby museum in ages but this sounds like something special. I'll definitely have to make a trip down.
