A few of us from the Eddington Astronomical Society and others will be standing like lemons (big, planet sized lemons) along the banks of the River Kent in Kendal to produce a scale model of the solar system. There'll be information leaflets, themed wares and displays at the cafes et al that coincide with the walk and hopefully some solar observing if the weather decides to change its mind sometime between now and then.

The website for the effort is here, last year's version on Kendal Castle is here (my own report here), publicity poster is below and the thing will take place 12-4pm on Saturday 14th of August.
