Northumberland Astronomical Socity ( are holding a series of public outreach events, which should prove interesting to novices and seasoned astronomers alike.

There will be a series of talks given by a published cosmologist, on a variety of subjects (see below), followed by observing sessions (weather permitting) including the use of our observatory, and refreshments will be provided.
