Japan's Hayabusa2 asteroid probe has lowered two Minerva-II-I rovers onto the surface of asteroid Ryugu.
The rovers, a mere 18cm long and 7cm high will hop about on the asteroid's suface, thanks to internal rotating motors.
The data gathered from the mission could help to explain the origin of the Solar System.
Meanwhile, China is planning to send a probe to Mars within the next three years, and a return sampler in ten years.
