Hi,
Been watching the launch of Expedition 27 to the ISS.
Nasa TV has changed slightly, I found it best watching it using Windows media player.

All the best

Hello Dave,

Here's a possibly daft question: is it possible to observe the Soyuz craft catching up with the ISS from the ground? I've seen photos taken by amateur astronmomers in astronomy magazines of the shuttle catch ups - I just wondered if the same were possible for the Soyuz as I'm quite keen on observing ISS passes.

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim,
It is possible to see the craft (I have also seen pictures taken on the 'net).
The ISS is making early pre-dawn passes at the moment and the Soyuz takes two days to catch up. Wont be as bright obviously.
All the best
Dave
