Hi
On a house move a few years ago my mount for the above mentioned scope was destroyed. It seems that it is impossible to order a new one so I will have to attempt a bit of DIY and build it myself.

Does anyone have any pictures of the inside edge of the Skyliner mount i.e. the 'friction pad' bit that skywatcher telescope attaches to via the carry handles/friction adjusters? I can't remember if it was bolted straight onto the sides of the mount or whether there was a disc of low friction plastic between the mount and the scope.

If anyone owns one of these I'd really appreciate any information that you could provide before I embark on this project - I'm not the best at woodwork but hopefully should be able to manage this with 12 to 18mm ply.

Thank-you.

Excellent, thanks Brian. Can't believe someone has put that on youtube - it's exactly what I needed.
Cheers. :D
