L&G Telstar 20X50 binoculars

Bought this morning for a fiver on a flea-market. A solidly built glass from the 1970s and well used, but without incurring damage on the metal body, leatherette covering and, most of all, the optics, which are very clean and scratch-free outside and inside.
The evidence for much use is in the paintwork around the rims of the objective cells. Much of the paint has gone to reveal the shiny aluminium underneath. The previous owner, possibly and ardent bird-watcher, must have held them in that position regularly. An artist's brush and a little silk black enamel paint will soon redeem them to looking like their original condition.
The original tan leatherette case came with the bins, too.
At X20 the binoculars make a suitable candidate for the shake-free binocular mirror-mount.
