Does anyone have any lead to a DIY Dobsonian Shroud ?

surely just a tube of cloth with elasticated ends would do the job?

Try using a pop up play tunnel like this ... t=208-6633 . Similar items from Ikea. Line the inside with dark/black nylon and hold it in place with Velcro Hook & Loop tags. :)

Hi Graham,
Could you be a bit more specific :)
If it's just something to stop stray light (I assume it's an open tube scope) then I woulg go along with Grendels idea.
Quite a few years ago I had a 8.5" reflecter (home-made open tube) on an eq. mount. I made an elasticated cover out of black cloth that threaded on from the bottom of the scope up to the mounting bolts. This stopped any stray light hitting the primary.
