I have just received an interesting book on comets called "Visually Observing Comets", by David A.J.Seargent. It is in the "Astronomer's Pocket Field Guide" series and published by Springer Nature. I came across it in an advertisment in one of the astro-mags. Looks "right up my street" as they say! Most books on comet observing are half full of how to image/photograph comets or about complex cometary science - neither which is for me, although I very much enjoy observing them as you may have gathered by my various observing reports here. This book "does what it says on the box" (ie on the paperback cover). regards maf
