SETI: where are you ET?

Post by brian livesey »

The official SETI search ( Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence ) has cost the princely sum of £78 million, but with no success so far.
There have been several million false alarms and only about a dozen "strong" suspects. Now it's reckoned that the signals received were from 'phones and earth satellites.
They've tried radio and optical SETI, so now maybe we should all try holding hands, concentrating, and chanting "Hommmmm".
