On this date the Moon will be 13% or 14% bigger than an average full moon. It won't be until November 25, 2034, that the Moon will appear this size again, said Nasa.
Moonrise from Britain will be at about 4.45pm. Robin Scagell said: "It will be above rooftops and chimneys and always appears bigger that way because you are comparing it to foreground objects. I'm pleased for people to get their binoculars out and look up at the craters and seas." ( the "i", Nov. 2 ).
The November supermoon will be the brightest and largest of the three of this year: Oct.16, Nov.14, Dec.14.
