Hi Duane,
It was probably cloudy.
You may have had a better view dreaming it.

Rain again today, and yesterday.

Seen the pair just above the North Sea horizon at 4am this morning. Beautiful pairing indeed.

Hi Eddie how goes it mate.Have you got a set of wheels yet?
Looking at the pair out over the sea must have been a great sight.
We have a new Darksite as well mate, much better than the one i showed you before,
Karl and i saw N.G.C.1614 or 1647 i think it is just above the Hyadesthis was at least mag +6.
We'll go up one night see what you think, personally i reckon you'll be very impressed.

Ha ha :D . I didn't go to bed because I thought maybe I wouldn't want to get up again ... for all the good it did as a group of us met up and stared at a cloudy sky for 90 mins. Really worth staying up till 4.00am  .

Still no car.

Not until next year I think. yep defo up for a trip to Bish Auk again. Take my scope up next time, and compare the views from a 8" SCT to a 300mm Dob. Sept, the skies should be getting dark enough to get the fuzzy wuzzies again.

Had a gp with my 20x80's last night.
fantastic. nabbed a dozen Messiers in less than 20 minutes. Crystal optics and not as heavy as you would think.
Alberio split easily.

Away 3 - 18 Aug on jollies, but free any time from then, apart from a Sunday and Monday.
