Having just found these things can be used to power things not only as a jumpstarter I was wondering if anyone knew how it compares to a power tank.It s a lot cheaper but I cant find info on its power output. I use a tracking only CG5. Thank you.

I believe that the Maplins 3 in 1 Jump Starter is only 7 aH.
Aldi at the moment are selling a Jump Starter which gives 17.2aH for only £34.99.
The Aldi power tank has 2 12v DC sockets where the Maplins one has only one.

I have a couple of these "jump starters" I use them to power my 'scopes and also to power my portable ham radio kit.
Some have lights built in which come in handy when packing up at the end of the night... I always drop something and the built in light has saved my bacon on more than one occasion.

They are a lot cheaper than power tanks. I fail to see why people spend so much money. You could buy 2 or 3 jump starters for the price of a power tank.
