Members discounts

How often are the discounts pages checked.

I have just clicked on two links, one was a hotel

Both are not working
Celestron 8" Edge HD Evolution, Esprit 120mm triplet, 72mm APO, Sky Tee 2, 6" reflecting scope, William Optics Binoviewer, Quark Daystar Ha Chromosphere on 72mm ED, LVW8mm eyepiece and Celestron 19mm Axiom, matched W.O 10 and 20mm, and a few others, D4s, D810,

For info, I am Autistic, Aspergers, ADHD, therefore if I come over as a little "short" on occasions it is not intended, thank you

Looks as though the "discounts" page has been updated. Currently I can only see one offer of B&B :

http://www.gallowayastro.com/

and the link works for me,

IF you click on binoculars UK limited the screen shot OF "binoculars UK limited"
flashes up for a second then you are directed to this site ????

Yes, I see that also. I suspect a takeover by the supplier Optixmania and a redirect.
Admin would have to sort this out, but note the disclaimer on the Members Discount page

Note: The Society cannot be held responsible for supporters of the Discount Scheme, altering or withdrawing their offers or discounts without informing the SPA or its members. Check the details carefully before commitment

I have sometimes asked for SPA discounts and got them even from suppliers who don't have a scheme.

Usually 10% off.
But sometimes they say no.
It is always worth asking.

Regards,
David

I never shop without asking for a discount, we in GB (to cover all areas, I am in Wales :) ) are too shy, I agree always ask, even if you don't get a discount what can be "thrown in.

Bought a laptop, no discount, but after asking nice £40 case
