NO not to track, just to push button follow instead of keep trying to find the knobs on the mount you hold the control box and press a button whilst viewing.

Been ordering various parts from Amazon, again I am no electrician but it is fun I could NOt find the boxes I needed to house the motors then I finally came across whatever guitar stomp boxes are and have two coming.

So far I am enjoying the work, I even got a vice off Amazon for £8 that should have been £28 they had the wrong price on it

They will fit in a similar way to the esprit focusser shown I made last month but in a sealed box

Thanks

Being autistic some things really annoy me like having to keep "trying" to find the knobs to turn to track the moon etc so i decided to make something, BUT I am not electrician.

However I am sure you have heard that people with autism are either good at art or VERY dogged.

GOOGLE, the motors for example, I wanted slow and fast, so many many combos of "variable speed 12v electric motor" and so on led me to

DC 12V Gear Box Reversible High Torque Reduction Electric Motor 15~200RPM Outer Diameter 20MM(30RPM)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1

As for the boxes to hold them that I will attach to the mount, took me a week...................

Everything from metal case, metal box, small metal box, etc, etc, finally I came across "stomp box !!!!!!!!!!!! "
