Please could someone confirm...

...the planets to the left and right of the beautiful moon this evening?
Am I right in thinking Venus (left) and Jupiter (right)?

Venus should look brighter than Jupiter.
Just looked out, a bit misty.
Venus is below the Moon. Jupiter above the Moon.
If your binocular is working you may see Jupiter's moons near the planet.

Have you downloaded Stellarium (
http://www.stellarium.org) onto your computer? It's free planetarium software and shows you the sky in real time. It's an absolute must and really helpful for finding your way around the sky.
