The SUN - 16th July

Post by Cliff »

Very nice day, but when I started to image the Sun in mid afternoon the clouds were not very co-operative initially but I did get some White Light & Hydrogen Alpha images eventually. They proved to be quite interesting - to me at least. There seems to be a possibly pretty new Sunspot now just on the Sun's visible disk

Hello Cliff, yes I noticed (only just) the little beggar at the limb when projecting at about half past 5 yesterday evening. Take look today if you can, there are a lot more groups and spots - see my “Sun Today” report. Best wishes Bob

Bob -many thanks for your comments & the additional gen (just read at 6:30pm 17th). However, I cannot find your new 17th July report Which I gather would be interesting. I imaged the Sun again on 17th July but must admit I found my new images a bit confusing.
Best wishes from Cliff
