Early morning rain, just about stopping when I got up 7:45am - then weather gradually getting better. In the afternoon I visually observed & imaged the Sun in White Light & Hydrogen Alpha using my 88mm refractor & 60mm Coronado SolarMax through our west facing back bedroom window.
From my point of view, quite interesting results, the main existing Sunspot with very vague companions now nearing the Sun's W-S-W Limb. However, there's now a faint group now just inside the Sun's S-E Limb - there was a quite strong Sunspot group in the 28th S-W sector on the 28th October (quite faint nearer the S-W limb on the 31st Oct which I suspect might be the same as the "new" 12th November group.

Re: The SUN - 12th November
Hello Cliff, good to see an image of the Sun. I counted 4 spots in two groups on the 12th, just as you show them here. Today, 13th, they looked the same at 1045 UT, except for one more tiny ghostly speck of a spot near the large spot at the preceding limb. 60mm refr. f15, by projection.

Bob -Thanks !
I'm pleased you got another good observation of the Sun today. I managed to observe & image the Sun again (13th) in White Light. Not certain but I suspect the "new-ish" Sunspot that only recently arrived on the Sun's E side might be have been one from near two weeks earlier that's just travelled round the back of the Sun. I may display today's image in a little while.
Best wishes from Cliff
