Some shots of active regions 2740 and 2741 on the sun this morning at 0800 UT. Plus a rather faint prominence. Quark Chromosphere with the Altair Astro 102 ED-R and Antares 0.5x reducer. 300/2000 frames. DMK31 camera.

ks for displaying those great detailed Ha Sun images.
I'm particularly interested in a couple of things -
1) The very bright elongated area adjacent the newer Sunspot, I take to be "plage" (being Ha) rather than faculae (?).
2) The dark elongated "spot" above the older Sunspot on your image, I think might be the very small "spot" (I called a pore) fairly near the older sunspot on my 7th May White Light image. I also find the biggish dark "spot" upper left of your image quite intriguing.
It has been pretty cloudy & rainy here, so no Sun for me the last two days.
Best wishes from Cliff
