Bob & al(L)
Yes, the Sun was very interesting again, in fact the last several days have been really interesting indeed. I was lucky today, the sky was very good and I got some exciting Sun images in both White Light 88mm refractor & Hydrogen Alpha 60mm SolarMax, using ice my Opticstar PL-131m video camera. The fine Sunspot was right on the very limb of the Sun and one of the recent pores may have possibly achieved proper Sunspot status (?).
It will be interesting to see if the "big" Sunspot lives long enough to reappear on the Sun's opposite in due course and also the tiny new spot (?) as well.
I now attach the 19th April images -
