M63 imaged last night with the C8 at f 3.6 using two reducers and the Altair GPCam mono v2. Captured using APT, guided with PHD2, stacked in Nebulosity, processed in Photoshop. 9x300sec + 1x600sec luminance, 10x120sec each red and blue (synthetic green done in post-processing). Dithering was used but no darks or flats.

A nice image Brian. You've captured the flocculent structure well.

Hi Brian. Lots of nice detail there. Must ask, is it a greyscale image? There is very little colour showing on my monitor?

regards,

Aren't Sunflowers supposed to be yellow-red in colour?. This one is blue - more likely an Aster?

Sorry, Brian, just pulling your leg :)
