Here's a shot of the three planets together taken this evening, 26 May, from St Lawrence Bay, Essex, at 22.06. Details: Camera was a Canon 40D, lens a Sigma 55-200 at 135 mm; ISO was 160, shutter speed 1/3 sec, aperture f/5.0. The river Blackwater is in the foreground. Jupiter is on the left, Venus on the right and Mercury above it. I only noticed Venus visually.

Not nearly as pretty as yours, Robin, but shows what can be achieved with "bodge-job" kit (in this case, batphone and binocular) if you forget to pack (or just don't have) a "real" camera...
