Jupiter 11 Dec

Post by smerral »

Missed the GRS again, but Callisto, Europa and Io (left to right) form a nice grouping. Mak 127, Atik Titan and 2.5x TV powermate. These taken about 40 mins apart. I'd forgotten how quickly the moons move. :-o :

Hi Brian,

Lots of banding there with detail and the moons have been picked out very well.

All the best

Very nice grouping of satellites in the two photos, Brian.
The detail on Jupiter also moved a lot in the two photos.

At 02.17 UT this morning I only could see one moon for some reason in good conditions. Jupiter low. 12 x 50 binocular. Ganymede I think. I will check why I did not see other moons.

Regards, David
