Sunspot Progress 12th to 15th June

Post by Cliff »

Three images of the Sun showing a Sunspot's progress 12th, 13th & 15th June - unfortunately 14th June was quite cloudy here.
Note on the 12th June the Sunspots appeared on the very edge of the Sun's disc - not easily seen.
Best wishes from Cliff

We are having a run of clear intervals, so it’s interesting to see this run of images Cliff. Today at 1000 UT the seeing and transparency were excellent and the spot stood out like an engraving. Regards, Bob

Bob - yes I agree. Of course as I think you know I do not claim my Sun images are properly aligned with either Sun's polar axis nor Celestial North.I suspect Brian's fine Cak image is more properly aligned than mine.
