Sort of "computers and astronomy" so I thought this would be the best place to mention this.

Some of you who use a personalised Google homepage as your Google page might have noticed that, recently, Google have added the ability to write your own modules that can be added to the page.

I had a read of the developer documentation this morning and, if you at least know some HTML (plus can handle writing a little bit of XML), it's quite easy to get a simple module up and running.

By way of having a test of this I quickly created a phase of the Moon module. I had it working in about 10mins.

Hopefully we'll start to see some astronomy related homepage modules in the module directory the near future.
