Sunday, 24/3/19, fairly clear sky, some cirrus and contrails! Warm and sunny later, I sat in the garden!Located Venus at 0930 and followed until 1005 UT. Just as a bright 'star' in 12-30x50 spotter from the garden. The Sun was hidden behind the yew tree for safety but finally had to move the tripod and then lost sight of Venus. (Obs.#567.) regards maf.
