|Post subject:||Winter Albireos|
Another great astronomy session, last night, the forth this week! The sky was superb, the Lynx and Cancer even sharply visible, and a unaided eye hint of M101, I think.
At one point, I turned my attention to two winter Albireos, lovely pairs for any telescope, I'd guess. Best through my big Dob at 110x.
The first one was Iota Cancri, quietly skulking at the top of Cancer.
The second one was h3945, hiding low (for me in Scotland) in Canis Major.
Both beautiful pairs, comparable to the wonderful double in Cygnus.
