I forgot to look early this morning, Mike. However, I popped out at 8:20am, and Venus was clearly visible to the unaided eye. I could pick out Jupiter using my 8x56.

I was hoping the clear skies would last, but then it had hazed over by the time I went out to use my telescope. I did manage to get a shot of the Moon though. Fingers crossed for the lunar eclipse. There was a lovely halo around the Moon at about 9:00pm, as viewed from here.

Best wishes, Jeff.
