Ive got an old 500mm f8 telephoto and a 500mm f8 mirror lens just sat in a corner of the room,always wondered if I could use the mirror one as a very small spotter
Would you recomend a good eyepiece to use with it ?

also being around the same time/area of the "Cricket meteor" I did think they could'v been connected,

I stopped getting magazine's when the cost went up above £3 per mag, but I used to get Ast now,Ast (U.S),Sky and T-scope (U.S),and Spaceflight, out of them all Spaceflight was my favourite but I dropped the subscription due to the cost, I only ever missed 2 of the first 6 Ast now mags,and still have...

An interesting method of creating an image of a galaxy,not heard of anyone else doing that before,

Reading your report reminds US all of how "Active" the conditions on the moon are,
unless your a lunar observer you tend to forget the drama of a simple sunset occuring over the lunar terrain,

I remember the first astronomy book I saw at a library,it had a rather blurry picture of the Cone Nebula on the cover,
Yours is so much sharper and better than a pro image a few years ago,
