Think I have found something out try clearing the pec data. When you set the mount and do you set up if the mount comes up with the message park the scope the clear the data the do another alignment

hi have you figured out the message on the synscan v4 I still get it but I have just found out that if I put the time to +01.00 and have it on daylight savings it brings the target stars in nearer to the center of the eyepiece don't know how your ailment is are you bringing the stars in from a long ...

Thank you for your reply I have some what figerd the polar alignment out I use a program called polar finder and ues the ra and Dec to put the pole star where it needs to be and it seams to work I've made a copel of modification to my EQ5 mount which has made the mount better and easier to use

Hi dose any one know of any good camping sites where I could go stargazing as I'm getting a tent and some camping gear so thing I'd like to do a bit of stargazing /camping I know some camp sites are set away from light pollution is would like to find some thank you in advance

I got the GPS with my go-to upgrade and it dose make life easier as you can park the scope and turn the power of come back to it after the clouds blow over and it keeps the setting so you don't have to find the stars again

I have just got the sanscan v4 at Christmas and I get the same on mine even tho it finds the objects no problem it's a strange one would like to know my self it doesn't come up with it if you don't 're aligin as if you set it up in the houes not on stars it doesn't come up with the message

Hi I've have the skywatcher EQ5 mount heard loads of good reviews about it before I got it then found out it has problems with the RA clock being floppy so Sat and messed about for a few days and found a solution if you take the polar scope out and wrap a strip of form that comes with tablet packing...
