I think it was about 3 years ago my exprienced the first outright rudeness , directed at me, on this forum. About a year later I came across more and stopped being a member of the SPA. My favourite Patrick Moore book is an unusual one I think. He was instrumental in rebuilding Lord Ross s telescope at Birr and wrote a small paperback about its history and the rebuilding. Filters

Trying to buy a few filters to fill in the gaps in the collection. Cant! Seem only to find sets. Wonder if anyone knows of somewhere who stocks individual wratten 1.25 filters please.

Skywatcher finder from 120 refractor. I use a single large finder for my telescopes now so this is unused. Smaller finder, cheap one, unused. 2 trays from skywatcher tripids. Macam help

Bit of a problem being computer dyslexic! I have macam as there is so little of it and what there is seems simple. Still cant see planets though just a very overexposed ball of light. Moon ok as I use filters on the telescope this doesnt work on planets. Cant find anything in Macam to adjust to cure...

Thank you for the help. Interesting one about gas pressure vessels although it even has a slot for the telescope! Its next to another building too so one side couldnt be used. I know a way to find out. I ll let you know later. Jonathon
