HI There, Weeks of constant cloud meant I only saw this comet for the first time at 22:00BST on the 2nd. Morning all,I finally spotted it last evening at 9.20pm.after a few slow sweeps with my swift 10X50 binoculars.a nice tail pointed up towards m31.really pleased I saw it.andy

Hi all,I scanned the sky last evening with my 25x100 binoculars. After enduring bitterly cold winds I saw no comet.hope to have a go again later.saw a nice sporadic meteor along the eastern horizon,with a faint trail. Andy

I came across one called 'orbitron' looks very good actually,even gives the radio freq's the ISS is using.

Hi there,i saw a bright 'orange' coloured fireball here at approx 11.30 pm last evening,it was heading on a north west trajectory,almost parallel with the mountainside opposite my house.I saw it for approx 2 seconds,very bright,then it faded.
the best i've seen for a long while.

Thanks for the 'Heads up' Dave,will give the scanner a run,you never know.It has been quiet,on the monitoring front,hopefully we will all get something soon.Looking forward to the Autumn/winter here,get some observing done then,for some reason i prefer observing in the winter hours.
