They were from a place in Norwich,Norfolk called "Solar Products Nch,I saw their advert in Astronmomy Now, Still got one un touched, and at least 3 in cardboard holders, The remote won't work through the filter, I suspect it may have been a company set up just for the Solar Eclipse, I don't use them ...

I got some of the solid squarre filters back around the 1999 solar eclipse, They were too dark to get sharp focused solar images when I used them, I've used one recently as I made a filter holder for my ETX, But will still buy something like filter film, although I'd love to get the solid one for the...

To say this was an unexplained sighting you seem to be filling in an awefull lot of blanks !, It can be perfectly still at ground level yet quite blustery higher up,just seeing debri during the day time shows this, Always fascinating but sadly everything above has already been explained, however I'd ...

I think it was Nov 1988 when the bug bit me,I'd had a few moments with Astronomy before that but its when I got my first 35mm camera (still got it)
I'd have been 19 year old,
I'm now just shy of 43 and still as interested,

I have my 125 in front of my Velux loft window,it gets used a lot as its always set up ready and waiting, the warm currents from inside can play havoc but its nearly always freezing up there so not as bad as it sounds, nothing beats being outside in the garden with it,but for ease of use its OK where...

What exactly is the difference between modded and unmodded on the Image ?
I understand what gets done to the camera but not "why" .

Id love the same camera so am interested in doing the same if its worth having it done,

Thanks,

JJ..
