It was total cloud cover an hour before set up last night The sky then completely cleared (normally the other way around). The seeing was quite good too. Nice view of Mars, the moon and Jupiter/Saturn on a diagonal line. Used an 8mm radian with my 127mm mak, x187. Saturns rings were sharp. I could s...

Really nice shot. I have toyed with the idea of getting a Star Adventurer. Have you used it 'straight out of the box' - I'm hopeless at modifying anything technical!

I don't normally bother as the weather is usually bad and my garden is very light polluted, Despite lots of patchy cloud I stuck it out for an hour and did see 12 - of which 3 were impressive.

The forecast was poor here, and there was heavy cloud in the morning, but lucky I had plenty of good breaks between around 13:15 and 17:45 (when it disappeared behind trees). I'm glad I got to see a decent amount of it.

Yes I did use autofocus. I focused when the moon was nice and bright as I knew it might be tricky during the eclipse. Thanks
