Newton's Astronomical Society will be holding their monthly meeting this coming Friday (8th July 2005). There will be a talk by Dr. Ann Bonell on the subject of "Edwin Hubble". The meeting is held at Woolsthorpe Manor, near Grantham (the home of Sir Isaac Newton).

See the society's web-site for more details about the society and finding the venue.

Hi,

Is this Society still active? I ask because the site is now non-existent and no one has replied to me email in a couple of weeks.

No. The society closed down quite a few years ago now. The explanation for a lack of email response will depend on who you emailed.
